Bird of Paradise...

I had the honour of laying my head at a lovely girlfriend's of mine last Saturday...

Look, what I found as I left with another to go for dinner...

We used to have the dwarf variety at our last house and my eldest so desperately loves these flowers but our climate is just too cold... I've even tried to grow them in the greenhouse, might try in the hothouse, come spring!

Felt so blessed to have found such a treasure...
