Sausage is Sausage, amongst other stuff...

About 60kg's of meat. :)

Well Sausage went to the slaughter house last month and we have been enjoying ourselves on the bounty for about three weeks now. :) I ended up with 10kg failsafe sausages, 20kg mince, 12 rolled roasts, 10 silver sides, countless T bones, Y bones and chuck steak. There was also allot of Fillets too. Just so much meat... Amazing... We got the offal for the dogs and have cut them up into treat portions as well as bones for them. :) I have ended up with the full upright freezer and full deep chest full of Sausage...

As you know from an earlier post a very good friend of mine, Adam, is moving to Melbourne this week. Well he had to get rid of a freezer that he had so I offered to buy it off him...

It will fit Sausage in perfectly when he goes to the butcher in early July. hehe

Help, I am getting attached...

What a little cutie?

Nearly two weeks ago, I had a splurge on chooks. I went to the Pig and Calf Auctions in Warwick and went nuts, literally... But it was all my own pocket money so that makes it sort of alright... Just don't ask Russell... :)

Well two of them were meat chickens that the Warwick SHS kids had raised so was doing a good deed and got a couple of them. Male and Female. The male took to me immediately...

Whenever I am out there with the hose, he tries and gets some water. He is forever walking all over my feet and loves having a talk to me as well. So cute. So now I am falling for the little guy. He is only 10 weeks old and is for sure going into the freezer but... HE IS SOOOOO CUTE.

I need to distance myself. Have not named him for that reason but you know... He is just soooo cute. :)
