Ice skating...

For Tim's Birthday, he really wanted to go ice skating... He got his wish.

Three hours long they were both out there. Josh's feet were incredibly sore by the end of the stay there. 

That skating rink and the outfit of it hasn't changed since I used to go there for Youthgroup and for school sports... Still same wooden slats in the seats. Still just as uncomfortable as back then... Yet, a trip there can still bring so much joy. In the end it's all worth it :)

He had a great day. Still getting used to him being 19! He amazes me every day...

Date X 2...

Josh had his Parkour work out on on Saturday, at Warwick Gymnastic Club in the morning. Then it was time for Russell and I to take him out on a date. Normally, it's just Josh and I but this time Russell also joined us. It was wonderful. Josh felt very spoilt. He and I had the best Barramundi! Yum. Russell had a chicken schnitzel burger. We also had three Snickers thick shakes... Oh my goodness... They were even better than the first time! Soooooo good! Had a totally great time. Blessed beyond belief!

Seaworld and Wet N Wild...

Our family outing was twofold today... Seaworld then Wet N Wild...

At Seaworld we didn't go in any rides this time. We watched the Dolphin Show, which has been changed, touched the Stingrays, checked out the Sharks, enjoyed watching the Polar Bears that were very active today and also enjoyed watching the Penguins.

We left when it was pouring rain and there was a huge thunderstorm to boot.

Didn't get better at Wet N Wild. We went in but all rides and pools were shut due to the lingering thunderstorm and the accompanied lightening. Was eerily quiet and the wave pool with no one in it looked strange... We stayed for a little while but then left as there weren't any rides for the boys to go on. 

The ride home had patches of rain and now we're home it's raining, with a thunderstorm... I hope and pray it rains all night :)
