Make some more for Tim a couple of weeks ago... Needless to say he started picking at it when it wasn’t even don’t in the dehydrator... Love that he loves something that is so good for him :)

Have not had a meal out of the slow cooker for a while... Tonight is the night to break that! So looking forward to it...

Gone is the double oven and now I have a single oven and a shelf underneath :)

Haven't made it in a long time. Today was the day. Got my Sue Dengate Cookbook out and made the Receipe.

Josh wants to get away from the sugar in processed jams etc, so I asked him if he wanted the failsafe paste instead. He jumped at the idea!

Woohoo, again he will enjoy his lunch breaks at school!

Fish... Glorious Fish...

These are the fish that Tim brought home from his holiday... They were solid frozen blocks yesterday... Today, they are dinner...

Russell's even going to try some! Woohoo!

We had a wooden pallet to get rid of so we broke it up and burnt it. What a glorious Sunday afternoon to do it on. So beautiful.

Trying something New...

Didn't have enough potatoes for mashed potatoes...

Needed to use up homegrown sweet potatoes. So I did. Then on top a simple dish of cubed chicken breast with onion marmalade and a bit of BBQ sauce on top! Yum! A total hit!

This quarter we are trailing not using the stovetop. We need to use up 16 gas canisters... 

Josh is not just cooking on his day of the week but choosing to do it other times too... He says he needs the practice for when he moves out hehe...

I made the batter and Josh made them. He flipped them like a pro! They boys put their music on and away we bobbed... So cool spending time together!

Used a dozen eggs as we have so many at the moment. No wonder they ended up so yellow... All that eggy goodness!

Egg and bacon pie...

It tasted so good we had it two nights in a row. Done two different ways. One with milk and one with cream... Great way to use up lots of eggs :)

More limes used... The end result is a little too sour for me... More sugar I reckon... Also made in the Thermomix!

Lime Butter...

After mum gave me kilos of limes from her tree, I knew I had to do different things with them...

Josh and Russell washed them all for me. My hand will be eternally grateful...

Lime butter was one such end result... Made in the Thermomix, off course...

Ended up so yellow as I used our homegrown eggs ;)
