Just loving the easy way to make it and eat it :)

Oma's ring...

It's been a long time since I'd seen it... My Mum gave it to me a little while ago...

It is ever so beautiful and holds many treasured memories... It was my Oma's wedding ring. After my Opa passed away, Oma had a sapphire put into the ring... She wore it till the end... I feel very honoured to be looking after it!

Giving it a try...

We keep running out of water kefir... So seeing that my new container enables me to make so many more grains, I thought I'd give it a shot and prepare two lots!

Tonight, again after only two days of growing, I ended up with over two cups of grains!!!

So now I have two lots brewing :) Can't wait to see the results on Sunday night! Need to find some people to give away grains to...

A good solution...

Over the last little while we have missed a few calls made to our home number...

Our old cordless phone with an answering machine no longer worked...

Yesterday, hubby and I went into Dick Smith and had a look at their variety of phones on offer. There was a pack with a Base, answering machine and two other handsets... Discounted to a ridiculous $36.72!!!

So, now we won't miss calls anymore. I don't like it when I am being forced to ring a mobile, so I certainly don't want to do it to others... The other thing I like about this trio is that it uses such little power too... Always a bonus :)

Yummy dinner...

We have not had wraps for ages... Tonight was the night :)

Chicken and cheese with a white sauce over the top. Sides garnished with a mixed salad... All with water kefir to drink :)

Totally delicious meal! Well done my darling hubby!

Lavender and Rosemary galore...

Both are flowering and just beautiful... Had to bring some if it into the house...

Love brushing past the vase-full in the bathroom...

Meeting Gina :)

After Amy died so suddenly, I wasn't sure I wanted to get another piggy... I saw Gina and couldn't resist...

She was half price too as she was very pregnant...

She has settled in well. This morning, my youngest found that Gina had had her three babies. One was not formed properly, the other two didn't make it either. They were very little...

We buried them this afternoon. Gina at this time is doing well and being spoilt rotten. Her and Isis are getting along very well.

Can't wait to take them to work on Sunday!

Cheers
