What a date...

Asked my eldest if he wanted to go for a walk up at Cunningham's Gap for a bit of a bush walk as our next date...

He loved the idea and we agreed to leave home at 6am this morning... T'was hard to get him out of his warm bed. Me, I got up before the alarm went off, for once...

We got up there and took the 5km track. My treasure didn't look to see how long it was hehe... Couple of times, he complained but mostly talked about Minecraft... Loves that game and what he can do in it!

Was such a beautiful sunrise that we witnessed and had a lovely couple if hours walking. The Bell birds were quiet at first and going at it by the time we went to leave...

Love my dates with my young men...

Blessings,

Using Oma's Doona cover...

It's been wrapped up for 10 years... Time to use it or give it away... So, it's in the wash and will be used :) Love useful things...

Blessings,

Tamarillo babies coming...

After four years of babying the plants, they're finally setting fruit :) Sooooo excited!!!

Can't wait to see what they turn out like!

Blessings,

Brrrrrrr, just a little chilly!!!

Had 1 degree during the week... Ice everywhere. Hubby and the boys had to go to work and school. The dogs and I went back to bed hehe... Loved getting a tonne pile of wood ready for the cold season...

Loved seeing the ice everywhere...

Blasting into the past...

My youngest had an ENT appointment last Friday... I mentioned that I then had to see my GP and asked if he wanted to see his favourite teacher, ever!!!

He jumped at the chance! We saw Mrs T and what a scream... She taught my youngest in year 2 and 3... He's now in year 10! Just a bit of growing has been done... When taking photos, he made sure his arm draped over Mrs T's shoulders... Cheeky! ;)

He brought her roses and her favourite... Black Jelly Beans! Mrs T used to say to the kids "Don't eat the black ones, they're poisonous!" Yeah, right!!!

Questions flew back and forth, hugs were had, pictures were taken. My boy even told her she has always been his favourite teacher (he calls her 'the Boss Teacher) and thanked her for all that she did for him. Yes, there were tears... Of happiness.

We really need to thank our teachers more... It's not just their job...

So glad I suggested we go and see her... So glad Mrs T was in the staff lunchroom as she's not there usually.

Again, thank you Mrs T for everything you did for my boy... You will always be 'The Teacher of the Century!'

Blessings,

Settled in...

Jasper is very comfy here... We adore having him as part of our family!

Bailey and Jasper are happy together too, which makes things easy. I think they know where they each belong in the chain of things...

Love how gentle they are with each other. Jasper has allot of energy, which has us in fits of giggles... Just love how our family is complete...

Blessings,

Seaworld...

Got the wonderful opportunity to support clients from work on an outing to Seaworld!

What a wonderful day. We left 7:15am and returned 11 hours later... All were tired at the end of the day...

The group I had saw as much as possible and packed into the day all that we could. Was great that they had the energy as the place is so big...

Blessings,
