Off the beaten track...
The boys walking off ahead of me. :)I truly believe you get to know your neighbourhood much better and quicker when you walk it instead of always driving through it...
Last Sunday, Russell, the boys, the dogs and I all went for a long walk. It was great to walk up some grassy paths where only a few cars had been. It was also nice to be off the bitumen and looking on the ground in case there were some treasures to be found...
Timothy did find some lovely rocks that he off course had to bring home... At the front door they still sit. :)
It was also great to look at our house from the bottom of the valley. It looked quite different to what we are used to seeing. We loved walking off the beaten track and quite a few saw us walking the dogs. They also loved the change in scenery. :) We waved whenever we saw someone and they always waved back. :)
Was a great way to spend a chunk of the morning and will be done again this weekend... The weather was so perfect too... Must make that a more regular occurrence. Great idea Joshua had... :)
