Josh was showing it to Russell on the bush and it fell into his hand... The good lad made sure he showed it to me first for its photo opportunity and then promptly ate it! Hehe. Such a tiny little one too...

Strawberries Galore...
Our local little school had its Fete and Country Markets day last Saturday...
Had a ball. Helped out with the food stall, bought a beeswax candle, bid on two little tables, bought loads of tickets in loads of raffles, bought other stuff, bought strawberries... 1/2 kg was only $3! Bargain! We all loved them :)
So many stalls, so much to choose from, even had yabbie races!
Raised $3000 on the day! Fantastic effort!!!

Irises are so fascinating...
I had never noticed... Not till Joshua showed me the other day... On the inside of the petals is where the pollen is!
Well, there you go. Here I just thought it was a stripe of colour... Never looked on the flower from the side angle ever... Need to look closer from now on :)

Yesterday, Jasper and I needed some hammock time ;) Was great to listen to some great soaking by Graham Cooke :)

Day at the Beach...
'Twas the most beautiful day today... Tim got soaked, Russell supervised well, Josh went for a long walk with me and then got himself very stuck in a mountain of sand...
We had lunch out and both down and back from the beach, Tim did a heap of reading. Yes, it was a fabulous day in the sun. We even saw some jet fighters flying over really low. One turned from side to side as though waving even!
'Twas a glorious day, indeed...
