Sneaky...
So Jasper thinks if he sits really still, he just might be allowed in... Umm, nope... Off to bed in the laundry...
He's getting better. He used to sleep on the boys beds, taking turns where he slept. He's had issues with food aggression lately and being really bossy so he's learning that he's not the top dog in this pack...
All a learning process... And he's doing very well. Today was the second day Ina row he didn't growl while I was getting his food ready! Well done, Jasper!

Date time...
After Youthgroup, Tim and I went and spent time talkin', chillin' and eatin'...
During the whole time, Tim thought he'd be clever and keep the stick-on mustache on his forehead as a monobrow! Lol... It was a pirate themed night at Youthgroup...
Love how the simple things in life make him laugh, and me in turn too!

Swollen ankle...
Youthgroup can be a little dangerous sometimes... Tim did a good job on his ankle last Friday night... Swelled up really quickly. Was very painful for the night... Getting better each day :) So glad for ice packs!

Alternatives...
From July this year, our electricity bill has gone up even more than previously... I'm at my wits end trying to save money. For a 90 day period we pay more than $100 just to have electricity now... Unfortunately, we can't choose which power company we can use. In the city, people have choice. Out here we don't...
A couple of years ago, we had gas cans going really cheaply. I got four packs. Guess what we are going to use for cooking for the time being...
Yep, we are using the gas cooker... Working a treat so far :) Seeing we have 16 cans, I wonder what sort of impact it will have on our stove cooking power usage? Can't wait to see at the end of the quarter...

Tim and Ice...
He loves his ice... Wants to go to the snow so badly... He will get there. For now, he's having fun playing with the ice out of the tucker box that he and Russell just defrosted!

I made the batter and Josh made them. He flipped them like a pro! They boys put their music on and away we bobbed... So cool spending time together!

It was on a very cloudy and gloomy day getting to sunset... And there was a skippy watching us from the house... So we watched it back hehe. It was between the house and the mound near the shed.

Beehives...
Later this year, we get our Flow Hive... In the meantime, Russell's building two other complete hives. Last weekend we started on building the boxes and frames. I painted a lid and outsides of boxes. Little bit exciting...
On a sad note, we believe our Australian Native Stingless Bees hive has died... We will take the hive apart during the week but there's no activity at all and cobwebs around the entrance... So sad... More info and piccies to come...

Wow, Really???
I was on a date with Tim... The place we went to has hay rides as well and as we were finishing up at about the leaving time, we decided to go on the hay ride.
At the half way point, we all got out and some tried to fly boomerangs and some tried their hand at whip cracking... Guess what I attempted... Yep the whip cracking. I got a couple of cracks out and then I got my neck! Far out it hurt!!!
Tim tried so hard to learn in like 5-10mins. Russell, the teacher, was very patient... Great try Tim!
