What's with the bags...

Something good must be in or on these shopping bags... The dogs love to sleep on them. The bags are there for a short time between being used to going back into the cars...

Maybe they smell food? No idea. Whatever the reason, they love to snooze on them when someone's in the kitchen :)

Blessings,

Time to read...

Love my new candles... Thanks Margaret for my lovely gifts...

Blessings,

It's a miracle...

No, really I mean it!

A month ago, I was chosen to do my Cert IV in Community Services Work. Felt very privledged to have been chosen. I had prayed the week before that the process of getting the Cert IV would be simple... Not particularly easy, as I love to learn and be stretched... Just simple...

So I went along and did my Cert IV and not only did I complete it, I was strongly advised by both trainers to come back the next day and do the Diploma on Community Services Work and Diploma on Mangement as well.

I thought long and hard about it, prayed too off course and talked to my hubby about it... He said to go for it!

In the end, I chose and I came back the next day and after completing all the theory work and sending 110 emails to back up my knowledge with evidence, all my work was assessed and the rest, as they say is history...

I am now the proud owner of not just a Cert IV in Community Services Work but also a Diploma on Community Services Work and Diploma on Mangement as well.

Amazing what you can have in your brain, what you can learn while volunteering, working on pilot projects at St Lucia University and day to day things you are challenged with, when you have a child that has a disability...

And all this was all because I asked for the process to be simple... Not only did I end up with one piece of paper but three!!! Yay!

Blessings,

Beautiful young man...

He loves his onsie... Luckily it's winter here or he'd get way too hot in that costume... Oh, but he does LOVE it! :)

Blessings,

So proud of my baby brother...

It's his first house... I'm soooo proud of him and his lovely wife... Their three boys and princess daughter are loving the process too. Was so honoured to go out there yesterday and see the process...

Love their views, love the layout of the house. So real now seeing it and not just on a plan :)

Blessings,

Cuddles...

Cuties have a cuddle with me after having a haircut :)

Blessings,

Snooze time...

The dogs love to snooze, especially in a chair near the fireplace...

They're enjoying getting to know my new chair :)

Blessings,

What a toolbox!!!

How about that! My eldest has been working on this at school all term... So proud of his achievement...

Pickings Galore...

Hubby went to the garden yesterday and couldn't get all the picked produce into the house... There was soooo much. Love eating our own fruit and veggies. The lemonade tree's fruit is ripening more and more :) yummy!

Blessings,

Happy Birthday, Ron...

Our lovely Neighbour has his Birthday today... When the boys got home from school we all went over to his house to wish him many, very happy returns...

Blessings,

Kombucha Candy...

Had a huge SCOBY after it growing for a couple of months...

Turned the whole huge slab into Candy... Yum... Made the house smell like stewed apples :)

Blessings,

Me time...

I love it when I drop the boys off on a Friday night to Youthgroup... I do that and then end up in my local coffee shop for a muffin, latte (1/4 strength off course!) and a great book. Graham Cooke is one of my favourites, so he gets a good workout ;)

Blessings,

Production line...

Love getting together with local ladies and getting on with the job :)
