So much has happened...

Where to begin...

June 2018, I left my job as Disability Support Worker. It was a really hard thing to do. Sadly my body was no longer functioning at its best for the work required. My arthritis in my hips and wrist was getting worse. Cortisone injections so far are keeping most of the pain in check.

Early July 2019 we had 1/2 of our property cool burnt. Was very interesting to learn from the Aboriginal Rangers from Kyogle about fire, moisture and timing. When we had huge fires around us later that year we had nothing to worry about as the cool burn took care of the grass we had on that side of the property. Last year we were the only ones in our village to cool burn. Hopefully this year there will be more.

Russell and I are empty nesters now a days. Tim’s old room is the spare room and Josh’s old room is now my prayer/craft/reading room. Love it though when they visit. Currently they’re living together and getting along really well.

We sadly lost Jasper December 26th last year. We now have Pippa who was born 22.10.19. She’s teething currently so anything is fair game for being launched at with her teeth 😬

These last holidays we had our bathroom renovated. Got rid of the bath and could walk in with a wheelie Walker now if we needed to. So loving the new shower!

Nothing much has changed really since the government has asked us to stay home as much as possible. It’s what Russell and I do anyway.

I hope you’re doing well, wherever you are!
