Oh Jasper...

He's settling in nicely... He has eaten a couple of chook poos now too. Not too good for the breath though...

He's keen to meet the chooks though! They're learning that it's probably allot safer outside the house fencing than inside it!

Here, Jasper's watching on as the chooks peck at some grain at the shed.

Blessings,

Yummy!!!

Hubby excelled himself with dinner tonight :)

Homemade pork enchilada with tomato and corn salsa! Was so light and tasted oh sooooo good! One was sooooo not enough hehe!

Treasure Hunt x 2!!!

Easter Sunday was fantastic this year, the boys had requested a Easter Egg Hunt with plenty of clues to find the next loot!

In the end the boys wanted two hunts, so hubby made up two lots of clues... An enormous amount of fun was had by all. Belly laughs all around! Hubby's so clever to be able to pull them off each time! The clues are getting harder and harder, the older the boys get... Well done, Honey!

Blessings,

Meany...

My youngest hid some jelly beans on my eldest, oh months ago, from what I heard. Yesterday, I requested he fess up and tell him.

Hehe my eldest couldn't even remember about the Jellybeans...

Blessings,

What the???

My eldest has just completed two weeks of school holidays. This morning he found a present waiting for him in his lunchbox... Man, it smelt so mouldy...

Not even the chooks could eat that mouldy sandwich!

Introducing Jasper...

Today, I drove 1.5 hours to pick up our latest addition. Please meet Jasper. He's a 5 years old purebred Cavalier, in perfect health and we have adopted him from the Qld Cavalier Rescue Service. What a fantastic service. Jasper's foster carer was so loving and caring. We feel very privledged that he has chosen us as his forever home. It's the same service where we got Nova and Poppy came from...

He has had a clip, wash and treats. He's very well behaved and hasn't left his mark anywhere inside! Yay! He loves to lie on the bed just like Bailey ;) I believe that they will get on just fine.

The two of them look so similar... Hubby walking into the house after working for the day, he thought he was talking to Bailey but I introduced him to Jasper! Allot of laughter was had ;)

Will have to watch Jasper though with the chooks, as he seems keen to 'meet' them...

Blessings,

Begging to be drawn...

This tree begged me all week... Draw me!!! I didn't get a chance down there but I will up here, where I am now! :)

Blessings,

Dinner out...

After the conference finished on Good Friday, my friends and I found a lovely Bistro to have dinner at. The atmosphere was lovely, so was the food and the company ;)

Blessings,

Oh, the Perfume...

I noticed this large bunch of roses on the first day of the conference... Over the days it was moved around... Loved to look for it each morning to be able to bury my nose in their petals. The perfume was just unbelievable!!!

Blessings,

Beautiful...

So simple yet so beautiful and precious...

Blessings,

Views, everywhere you looked...

A property I went to see had the most beautiful gardens, buildings and views. Right at the top of the Blue Mountains... Such beauty... Very special...

Blessings,

Amazing Art...

At the venue where the conference was held, some very talented artists belong... Check these out...

Blessings,

Silk Painting...

Have never done this before... One of our activities at the conference was to express ourselves through art!

I have to admit, I was so afraid to start. I didn't want to ruin the canvas. Once I started though, I was ok. I held my breath allot hehe. I'm really glad I did it though. It still needs finishing off with pronouncing of the stamens etc. It's coming in the post end of May. I can't wait to frame it and show you the end result.

I am very happy with the end result as I wanted to colours to be soft and for the most part they are. The lighter background was to indicate that it's morning and with each morning you have new beginnings and new blessings...

The first picture is when it was still wet, then dry the next morning and one that someone else made end of last year.

Blessings,

Room with a View...

At the conference that I just returned from had the most beautiful views...

Blessings,

Prayer Room

I have never seen one like this... Was very small but dry and smelt of earth.

Was lovely to go and visit. Reminded me of a Hobbit's house :)

I'm back...

Oh I've had the most glorious time away from home over the last 10 days... Stayed in some lovely motels, especially in Millthorpe and Armidale :)

The Blue Mountains was so beautiful and I had a very rich week there. I learnt so much about who I am, why I am here and what my purpose in life is. It was a very blessed week.

I can't wait to share with like minded people!

Below are pictures of Millthorpe and the meal we had on our night there. Was divine!!!

Getting ready to leave...

Tomorrow, I'll get underway on a journey...

I'm leaving the state and going to The Blue Mountains, in New South Wales...

I'm going on a retreat with two other ladies, one a local, and will not get back till Easter Sunday... Can't wait, so excited!

I'm not really sure what to expect but am going with an open mind... I do know it's all about Healing and Restoration. And for that alone, I'm very excited :)

Will report back when I get back what happened :)

Blessings,

Stacking blocks...

My eldest still does this... Loves it in fact... He ended up stacking 25 of them before it tumbled... Cool to watch the concentration, and to see his excitement!

Blessings,

Sunbow...

Hubby had been outside throwing boomerangs this morning with my youngest and his friend...

He came in all excited, wanting me to see what he'd spotted... How beautiful it is...

Our very own Sunbow!!! So lovely to see and witness the beauty of our planet!

Blessings,

Sleeping Bailey...

Here I'm packing for another night shift... All Bailey can do is sleep... Makes me want to join him :)
