Awards Ceremony...

Last night, the whole family went to Warwick SHS for their 101st Awards Ceremony. This was the first time that we attended. You see, we got an invitation to attend! Our eldest was getting an award...

He's been doing his work experience all this week so was not at school for rehearsals. We therefore turned up early so he knew where to sit and what he had to do. He was nervous as he still had no clue what award he was getting...

He was the fourth off the ranks to get his award... It was: P&C Transition Award (for student with an Individual Education Plan)

Out of 70 Support Student, he was the most improved, personally and academically :) All that hard work paid off beautifully!

I was so glad to get a photo with Ms Walker, who's in charge of the Support Unit and Mrs Jarrett, his Case Manager. They both believe he's a very worthy recipient :) And so do I, biased or not! He knows though, he couldn't have done it without theirs and all the other teachers' support and guidance, especially Mrs Knudsen...

It was a long night and we didn't get home till just before 10pm. It was indeed a great night out, celebrating so many achievements :)

Cheers
