Matsoni starter on its way...

We got the full cream milk today and just now we started our starter. The process will take 24 hours, longer if the result is watery... Then we get to make the yoghurt!

Greek yoghurt is yum and can't wait to taste our own homemade yoghurt. I've made the yoghurt maker type yoghurt for many years but this will be so much more special :) No more packet buying... Another added bonus!

We have the jar sitting on top of the fridge for a little extra warmth. Also to seperate it completely from the milk kefir as the Matsoni culture is very vigorous and can be cross contaminated easily.

Oh, can't wait!!!

Cheers
