Wood, glorious Wood...

One appreciates it when you're down to two large pieces of wood and the ordered tonne of wood gets delivered...

I so appreciated seeing Rob this morning... I'm getting sick and it's been raining off and on for days. We were so close to not having heat in the house. At one point, yesterday, I was prepared to use gas canisters and the gas camping stove to heat a corner of the house...

Today, it isn't so cold which is so good. Though when you're not 100% even then it can still feel cold...

We were Rob's only delivery today as the properties he goes to are still too bogged from the rain we've had since before the weekend... Feel so fortunate that we got our wood. Have also given Rob heads up that we will probably need another tonne in about a month.

Tomorrow onwards, it's gonna get cold. Weekend should see about -2 degrees. Happened so much faster and earlier this year. At least we don't have to mow for a longer time this season :)

Blessings,

Tim collected loads of kindling...
