First night back...

The boys went back to Youthgroup tonight... First night for the year. They survived the first week of school and are settling into their grades really well. My eldest is in his last year of school, my youngest is in Year 10! Where does the time go...

Thoroughly enjoyed reading my book, drinking a latte and eating my apple crumble muffin while the boys had their fun at Youthgroup :)

It's nice to spend time just by yourself sometimes... Doesn't happen enough... Must correct that!

Pain free???

In my right wrist, my tendons have been very painful, for at least the last two years. Let's just say - Panadine Forte was my friend...

Last Thursday, I got a last minute appointment at hospital to see the Orthopedic Surgeon... Within 24 hours I was getting a long term pain relief and cortisone injection via Ultrasound... Was soooo cool to watch ;)

Was so blessed to get the injection so quickly. I go back in six weeks to see how the pain is. If it works, great... If not, the surgeon has talked about having surgery... Really don't want that...

Praying the pain goes and stays away...

Horse riding...

My Bucket List is not too long. One thing on it, is to ride horses again. Haven't done it in 25 years. Used to ride and gallop at an old friend's who had an Olympic size arena and stables... Am wanting to excise a local horse for free...

Couple weeks ago, I bought myself a helmet and riding boots... Been wearing the boots in and can't wait to find a horse I can start riding...

So looking forward to getting in a saddle again...

Crazy Man...

You'd think in the middle of summer that my eldest would be boiling hot... Nope, not him... He's always had issues with controlling his own body temperature... This summer is no different... It's the reason why I was warm and cold weather clothes all year round... Love how he took his younger brother's long pants... Hehe

Lots of scanning to be done...

As I find photos, I've been putting them in one spot! A mass is accumulating... They all need sorting and scanning... Will then put them on sticks for each of the boys to have their own photos to do with one day, as they please... Will be good to cull more clutter :) That's a job for another day...

Except for the puff pastry, all the ingredients in dinner where from our garden. Was yummy and felt very satisfying... Hubby made a beautiful white chocolate Icecream... Both were very moorish...

Granite Belt Maze...

Quizzes had to be solved and golf balls were sunk and chess was played... Love it there, and so does the rest of the family! Love the funny signs around the place too...

At the Gym...

Our local headspace has been running a fantastic sports program, for young people, that my youngest has been attending... Every four to five weeks, the type of sport is changed...

Currently, they are going to the Gym. My youngest has a trainer and there's a program that he follows... He's loving it :) He's also been egging his trainer along too! Love to see him improve more and more each week and getting more and more confident :)
